To sell, you need an eGun account and must be logged in. The form under "Article listing" guides you through the offer in four sections and shows you the fees incurred at all times.

Basic data

Title and category determine whether your item will be found: In the title, name what a buyer would be looking for – manufacturer, model, caliber. In addition to the main category, you can select a second category.

As an offer type, Auction (with starting bid, additionally an immediate purchase price on request) and Immediate Purchase (Fixed Price, with quantity) are available. You can use immediate purchase as soon as your account has existed for at least one month – certified members from the start. Before that, the selection is grayed out, and you offer the item as an auction.

Describe the item as accurately as possible. For items subject to the Weapons Act, it is mandatory to indicate the necessary acquisition authorization; commercial providers must also provide their full address. The Weapons Act and our Terms and Conditions are authoritative.

Pictures

The first image is free, each additional one costs a small fee; a large image is available for an extra charge. You determine the order yourself – the first image is the main image in the listings. How to upload and edit images is explained under "Edit Images".

Running time, condition and location

Here you set the duration and can set the start to a later date. If an auction has no bids, eGun can automatically re-list it. In addition, the condition of the item and your location (postal code) are considered – buyers can find your item in the local search via the postal code.

Payment and Shipping

Specify which payment methods you accept and how the item is shipped – including "only pickup on site." You deposit the shipping costs as a matrix so buyers can see them before bidding.

Additional options and fees

Bold text, colored highlighting, Top Category, placement on the homepage, and "allow price suggestions" are paid extras. All prices are listed directly next to the respective option, and the total is shown before you submit.

After posting

You manage your current offers under My Offers, and sold items under My Sales. As long as there is no bid, you can still edit an offer there. Regular sellers who post many items use batch upload via CSV file.
