Please note that alarm guns may only be offered as free from 18 years of age if a PTB mark (letters PTB + number in a circle) is stamped into the weapon. If this mark is not present, the weapon is subject to EWB.

Air guns are only free for those 18 years and older if an F-mark (letter F in a pentagon) is stamped into the weapon. Air guns are exempt from the F-mark if their production year is before 1970 or if they were manufactured in the former GDR before April 2, 1991. If a stronger spring is installed in the air gun, for example, so that the projectile energy in the 4.5mm caliber is over 7.5 joules or the muzzle velocity is over 175 m/s, the weapon is subject to EWB requirements. For the 5.5mm caliber, the maximum muzzle velocity is only 130 m/s.

Airsoft guns and paintball guns without an F-mark (letter F in a pentagon), are not allowed to be offered on eGun.
