UNIQUE SERIES OF 6 CASTAGNA WESTERN FIGURES
6 Figurines in new condition. All purchased in the years 1988 to 2000, the premium years of this collection. These busts are possibly the most famous and sought-after in the complete Western Collection (according to the Italian Farmet New, consisting of aprox 120 statues).
There is little known about the American artist Castagna. Internet does not provide much information. That is why the Italian Farmet New-catalogue is considered as the “official” catalogue.
Always stored at home behind glass, these statues have never been exposed to daylight, so the colours are sparkling and rich, as new.
All figurines are without any damage; not a scratch at all, no paint damage or nothing of that kind. Truly as new.
The Western Series from CASTAGNA is now legendary. Cast in alabaster and resin in Italy according to a design of the American artist, in limited editions.
The detailing and painting by Castagna are of an unprecedented high level. It doesn't get more lifelike and authentic than this.
Each statue has the year of production and the stamped signature of the artist. Each statue weighs approx. 2 kg. Height is 25 cm.
No original packing.
