UNIQUE COLLECTION OF CASTAGNA WESTERN FIGURES (88 pc.)
The Castagna Western Collection consists of 120 pc. according to the catalogue from Farmet New. Unfortunately their website is not accesible at the moment and I can show you only six pictures. Pls ask for the catalog and I will send it by mail to you.
The missing items are the very small statues. I bought everything brand-new between 1988 and 2000 and at that time the small statues were already difficult to find. Pls ask for the detailed list.
The statues are in mint condition. They are all absolutely damage-free. No scratches, nothing broken, 100% like new. I have kept them behind glass windows since new, away from direct day-light and dust, so the colours are still bright and original.
My collection includes all large (and rarer) statues, such as Indian Hunter, Raven Dancer, Large Eagle Dancer, Butterfly Dancer, Navajo Shephard, etc. These large statues (about 20 pc.) currently have market prices of Euro 150 and higher.
Total value of my collection back in the nineties was around Dutch Guilders 5.000 (around DM 4.500).
The Western Series from CASTAGNA is now legendary. Cast in alabaster and resin in Italy, according to a design by the American artist Castagna, between 1988 and 2000. The quantities were limited.
The detailing and painting by Castagna are of an unprecedented high level. It doesn't get more lifelike and authentic than this.
There is little known about the artist Castagna. Internet gives very little information. That is why the Italian Farmet New-catalogue is considered as the “official” catalogue.
I made four detailed quality pictures of every figurine. Pls ask if you are genuinely interested and I will be happy to send them, along with more information.
The figurines are very vulnerable, so I prefer a buyer to come and collect.
Shipping is still possible on request. The buyer will pay for the freight. Above I ticked the box that I will pay it, but that is beacuse it is very difficult to give a good estimate for shipping this collection.
